Dharamshala is an exciting place to visit during the Winters. I got a chance to visit it during the Summers. I learned new things and thought to make a better version of himself. I met a lot of people there and learned about their lives and sacrifices. I had a good experience exploring Dharamshala. I would recommend you to visit Dharamshala in the Winters, at that time it would be covered with snow. The natural beauty and picturesque surroundings of Dharamshala, as well as the presence of Buddhism, has made it one of the best and most visited hill stations in the country.
Dharamshala tourism is at a peak during summer months because of the temperature being pleasant during this season. Dharamshala is divided into two parts, one is the upper Dharamshala, and the other is lower Dharamshala. Both the parts are known for the scenic landscapes and monasteries. It is surrounded by the mighty Dhualadhar mountains and gives the best views of the snow-capped peaks.
- Dal Lake– Dal Lake is one of the topmost places to visit in Dharamshala. It is a very beautiful location and I loved it. The lake is a great place for the entire family to bond over activities such as boating and fishing. It is also a trekking point where people can enjoy both light and extensive treks; it is thus ideal for a family with members of different ages.
2. Bhagsu Falls– These are located a further 2 km from McLeodganj. However, the spot remains one of the most popular places to see in Dharamshala for its breathtaking view of the Kangra valley. The 20m waterfalls can be spotted on the Triund trek route. We had visited this during night, the water was very chilled out there. The Best Time to visit this fall is during the Summer. This fall is not that deep, it is good for Swimming. I had clicked a few pictures on this fall, touched my feet in the water and was on cloud nine.
3. Travel Adventures – This place is for the children to enjoy and explore themselves. It is a place to open your fear and be a strong human. In this Place, tourists come for riding ATV Jeep in the hilly areas. It is a place to go with your families. There is a restaurant upwards and it offers delicious food. I was not able to ride the Jeep, because we had gone there at the night. It is very important to take control of your lives and make your weaknesses, your strength. I had a fear of Acrophobia, I was able to overcame it during my Dharamshala trip.
It was a fantastic experience. I even plucked mangoes from the trees. The scenery of the hill station was marvellous. I was overwhelmed with the beauty of this place and would wish to make a trip in the Winters. We went to the Jyoti Mata Ji Temple, but we couldn’t went upstairs as it was closed due to COVID. Would make a trip again and this time would surely do the Para Glyding. It is a fantastic place for the People who are not scared of heights. Fear is a small word, but it has a lot of power to control your mind, So Don’t Lose it Your Mind.
Work everything to make your fear, your strengths. We plucked a lot of fruits like mangoes, Peach and many more. It was a fantastic trip, I would suggest you to visit and explore these beautiful places in Dharamshala with your families.
