IPL 2022 :GT VS PBKS: Clash of the Titans

GT must do batting order reshuffling to make the middle-order reliable. Vijay Shankar is not the ideal batter for the number 3 position. At the same time, David Miller’s services should not be wasted at 5 or 6. Hardik Pandya has shown his ability to stay on the crease and make runs in contrast with his reputation as a hard-hitting batter. Matthew Wade can be dangerous to any bowling attack on any given day. However, S Gill was troubled against Rahul Chahar in the past. PBKS likely introduces Chahar early in the powerplay. GT’s strength lies in their bowling. With Ferguson, Shami, and Rashid Khan performing very well with their roles, Hardik Pandya is also a danger to the PBKS top order.

GT vs PBKS, Brabourne Stadium. Gujarat Titans won two matches they played so far. While Punjab Kings lost one of three matches played so far. PBKS has all the firepower in the batting department. On the other hand, GT has all their firepower in their bowling department. This clash will be an exciting matchup of the bowler of GT vs batters of PBKS. PBKS has potential batting depth up to the number 8 position, which reflects in their previous match scorecards. Rabada now has more responsibilities to bowl in the powerplay and the death.

Arshdeep is performing as a supporting bowler and a lead bowler when needed. The PBKS top order is vulnerable to Mohammad Shami and Hardik Pandya now that Pandya is opening the bowling for GT. Rahul Chahar will be a crucial bowler for PBKS, as he is in terrific form and has excellent stats against GT batters. Rahul Tewatia hit two sixes off the last two balls after Shubman Gill struck his highest IPL score as Gujarat Titans beat Punjab Kings by six wickets  on Friday. Sent in to bat, Liam Livingstone scored 64 off 27 balls, laced with seven boundaries and four sixes to help Punjab Kings reach 189 for 9.

Shubman Gill performed brilliantly against Punjab Kings !!!!

Gujarat Titans needed 12 off the last two balls, and Rahul Tewatia rolled back the time to hurt the Punjab franchise again, as he hit two successive sixes to secure an incredible victory for the Titans at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai. Shubman Gill slammed a magnificent 96 to steer the Gujarat Titans’ run chase, and following his dismissal, the Titans required 19 off the last over. Hardik Pandya (27) was run out in the second ball of Odean Smith’s final over and at one stage, the side required 13 off 3 balls. Smith, then, missed a direct hit which brought Tewatia to strike, and he ended the game with two towering sixes that sealed a third-successive win for the Titans.

Earlier, Sai Sudharsan, who was making his debut for the franchise, scored 36 off 30 deliveries. Earlier, Liam Livingstone (64) shined for the Punjab Kings as the side put a 190-run target for the Titans. It is important to keep the scoreboard ticking. It is important to hit those gaps because this outfield is rapid. It is just about execution.

It was just one of those days where I was hitting the ball well and finding the gaps as well. I am hitting the ball hard, trust me. I am doing my level best to hit it hard, it might not look that. As an opener, I have to bat through the innings, so that it is easier for the big-hitters to hit it in the end. Instead of not thinking in the nets, I try and work and reduce my dot balls as much as possible. Not sure about the celebrations now, it takes us one hour to reach the hotel.
